CRIME, LAW & FORENSICS CAMP

Arbroath Court House Community Trust and Scots Law Talks are delighted to announce the introduction of the Crime, Law & Forensics camp this January.

Come and join us for a 2-day camp dedicated to legal systems, criminal justice, and forensics.

WHO IS THIS SUITABLE FOR?

Suitable for: Students currently enrolled at secondary school, aged 14-17 years. Please note that some 13 years olds may also be considered.

Refreshments: Light refreshments will be provided each day. Please note that attendees are to bring their own waterbottles and lunches.

Drop Off: Children can be dropped at Arbroath Court House from 9.45am with collection from 4:00-4:15pm.

Staffing: Lindsay Conchar, the Founder of Scots Law Talks, will lead the Camp. As a College Lecturer, Lindsay is experienced with students ranging from 12-year-olds to individuals in their sixties. Other team members from Scots Law Talks will be present on-site for the duration of the Camp.

WHAT IS COVERED?

Participants will have the opportunity to get hands-on with forensics as they explore fingerprint evidence, take part in thought-provoking discussions on crime, to gaining a practical appreciation of how courts operate in Scotland.

This Camp offers a distinctive experience where participants can acquire knowledge while enhancing soft skills like communication, confidence, analytical thinking and team building.
